G.R. Engineering since 1975 transports iron ore in barges at goa. The company manufactures flat double bottom barges at the shipyard in goa. The iron ore is transported within the inland waters of goa to be exported to various parts of the world. Inland steam vessels & ocean going coastal vessels are built here. From 1981, g.R.Engineering started manufacturing and repair of self propelled barges. The company builds up to 2000mt iron ore carrying capacity. The shipyard at rasaim-goa is well equipped for fabricating & repairing the barges. So far we have manufactured more than 20 barges with variable capacities. The maximum dimensions of barges are:
